Description

The POPE Professional^® LD Series LD-18BV3 Folded Horn Loaded sub-woofer enclosure with its high sensitivity transducer, is designed up to provide sub frequency extension to modern sound reinforcement applications. The high power, high output sub-woofer designed for touring and permanent sound reinforcement application. The sub-woofer features 4.5” voice coil, long excursion 18” Ferrite transducer mounted in a mechanically and acoustically optimized, rugged weather resistant horn loaded enclosure.

Integrated four handles allow for easy setup, loading and transportation. The LD Series Folded Horn Loaded sub-woofer delivers more bass per square inch than other Sub-woofer designs and includes a curved horn mouth bracing for smoother frequency response. The enclosure is constructed with 18 mm 11-ply birch faced plywood and is coated with a weather and wear resistant black textured SoundFlex^® coating.

The POPE Professional® GL-8A horn loaded sub-woofer utilizes horn loaded enclosure. The system incorporate two 18” transducers. The sub-woofer produces sound pressure level (SPL) of 126 dB continuous on axis at 1 meter with a power input of 1 watt and having capable to produce peak output of 132 dB SPL on axis at 1 meter. The sub-woofer can handle 2400 watts power (continuous) with 24dB/octave Butter-worth high pass filter. The sub-woofer enclosure constructed of exterior grade 18 mm plywood. The front of the sub-woofer covered with powder coated perforated steel grille with charcoal foam backing. The L-8A Sub-woofer built with flying slots for rigging.

The POPE Professional® OPL-212B is a compact dual 12" base reflex sub-woofer, which is designed to configure with OP-3208L Line Array for the extension of low frequency. OPL-212B is formed by 2 inverse 12" components and 4" voice coil with and a base reflex cabinet. High power design make each component is up to 800W. Two components mounted in the wall enhanced case structure. The case is made by 25mm birch plywood with durable and waterproof black-spot paint finish. Two handles are mounted in both sides and there are 2 four-direction handles in its bottom and top. Two parallel connected Neutrik® Speakon® 4-pin connectors are built in the back of speaker; black perforation iron grille with aluminum mesh can protect the inner components. Flying kits and accessories are made of heat treated aluminum, which can reduce the weight of speaker and enhance its strength accordingly. The load bearing of the flying kits and accessories are qualified with 7:1 safety factor.
